Our in-house master and mould making shop allows us to produce your custom production orders reliable and fast.
We manufacture a wide range of durometers, all our formulations can be produced in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. If you require a resin that we do not carry in-house, we can order the specific material and manufacture your products as required.
We are also known for our willingness to do short-run production and prototypes. Cast polyurethane is an ideal material for constructing parts that require tough physical properties and superior impact resistance.

Polyurethane Elastomer Plates:
Polyurethane elastomer plates provide a damper between the gearbox and the output flange, isolating torsional vibration and reducing the shock of forward and reverse gear changes. Our polyurethane elastomer plates work in conjunction with engine mounts and gearbox damper plates to provide the softest element and the driveline assembly. This improves performance and provides a sacrificial link that is designed to fail before gearbox damage occurs.
Polyurethane elastomer plates are popular for boats; however, they also service a wide range of different industries. With Poly Flex’s extensive range of polyurethane elastomer plates, they are designed to cover a large percentage of gearboxes, including but not limited to Twin Disc, ZF, Dong-I, Borg Warner, Bukh, Newage, Paragon, Technodrive, Volvo and Yanmar. While our couplings were originally designed for marine use, these couplings are utilised in many industrial driveline applications.
Custom polyurethane elastomer plates are available upon request, with Poly Flex’s extensive CNC machining capabilities allowing us to design and manufacture all products in-house at our Clontarf facility. Poly Flex can offer efficient custom solutions for many customers by utilising our in-house capabilities.
Polyurethane Engine Mount:
Poly Flex’s high-quality, durable, and robust true propulsion vibration mounts have controlled thrust and lateral deflection under propulsion load and inertia due to sea conditions. Poly Flex analyses the engine set-up or equipment to be mounted and tailors the vibration isolator mount and core durometer to determine the maximum levels of vibration and durability they can withstand. This way, we can establish how the vibration isolator mount will perform before installation.
Made from a high-quality engineering-grade polyurethane, these mounts prevent rust and are resistant to oil and fuel. They are designed to isolate vibration across the rev range without compromising the alignment of the driveline. It is designed as a fail-safe system capable of holding the same weight inverted to avoid the engine tearing away from its anchor point in rough conditions or in the event of a capsize.
With our high-tech, state-of-the-art CNC machinery, we do extensive custom work for companies and customers. Our machines are set up to provide highly accurate and cost-effective means of machining custom engine mounts to suit our customers’ requirements.
